When one thinks of Antivirus one usually expects data protection for files and servers. Recently security searchers of an American company based in Nevada, Rack 911 Labs, specialised in Cybersecurity found “a unique but simple method of using directory junctions (Windows) and symlinks (macOS & Linux) to turn almost every antivirus software into self-destructive tools”.
